Extegrity and Virtual Machines

Not planning to do this, just intellectual curiosity:
Extegrity blocks your wifi etc. connections and doesn't allow you to click other windows etc.
BUT, what if you run extegrity in a virtual machine window then click around on the non-VM part of the computer? Does the software also log everything but even then how would it know?
