Top Law Schools

My school teaches constitutional law as 2 separate core classes: (1) Fourteenth Amendment & Separation of Powers; (2) First Amendment. I had the Chemerinsky book last year when I took Fourteenth Amendment and thought it was really helpful. Somehow, I no longer have it, and am wondering if I should buy another copy for my First Amendment class this fall. Is it as useful for First Amendment doctrines as it is for the other stuff? Is there another supplement worth purchasing?

Yeah, it's good. There's also a couple student outlines on Google that rock.

I found Chemerensky less useful for First Amendment than Barron's Nutshell. I thought the latter was great. At the end of the day I actually think they are fairly similar but I preferred the nutshell because it more succinctly illustrates the arc/development of FA law and it also mentions relevant scholarship on particular topics more so than chem.
