Not sure what happened. 4.0 last semester. No As this semester, just a variation of Bs. Did the exact same thing this semester as last semester.
Anyone else?

Well, it happened to me to a lesser extent back in the day of my second semester 1L year, but when you are already at the top, you have nowhere else to go but down. After I celebrated being number one in my class first semester, something dawned on me - I wouldn't be able to maintain, it was inevitable. I remember actually thinking, I'd rather have been number 3. Then you can STRIVE, not just coast to the same gpa.
Look, its odd, but when you get all As your first semester, you've learned nothing of your weaknesses. However, your peers did. They CHANGED what they did, studied differently and better, and improved their methods. You stagnated. Nothing changed (but as a matter of logic, if it ain't broke how do you fix it??? Fuck me and my (illusory) perfection!)
That's what happened. Except, well, now you did weakly, so your "same" study methods have been exposed as fraudulent. Or at least, no longer suited to a curve containing experienced law students. Be critical and honest in your self-assessment. Don't do the "same" thing next semester, because now your peers are no rooks.
Sounds like complacency to me, sorry buddy. You gotta be fresh.

be glad you at least get to keep some of your A's. All of my classes were year long except for 1 so although I did really well my first semester (25%) it matters not at the end of the year (75%).

I actually worked harder this semester and got pretty damn close to median pwned because of one bullshit B-. The worst part is that I know people who didn't study and did way better.

Ouch. Sorry. Since they released grade distributions today, where do you stand?
And at least you'll always be able to claim that you're right in an argument because of your 4.0 first semester of 1L year, right? They can't take that away from you!
