How many questions should I be shooting for to do well on the MBE? There seems to be no real.consensus. I would appreciate some feedback.

Interested in this - can't find anything conclusive online on the raw MBE score to be safe.

Also, what is the average on the Barbri MBE Preview exam (out of 100)?

Not sure if this helps, but according to Wikipedia, the national average raw score for the summer MBE exam has historically been about 128 (64% correct), while the average scaled score has been about 140. I understand that you can waive into the DC Bar by passing a state bar exam, and scoring at least 133 on the MBE.

BarBri says their national average on their version of the MBE (which they acknowledge is harder than the real one) is 67%.

What my illiterate companion here is trying to say is, "I'm surprised you don't know this already from your bar prep course. The BarBri material says in numerous places that you need to be shooting for about 130 correct out of the 200."
