Is CALI free?
Quick question, is CALI free/ provided by your school or do you need to buy membership? Still a 0L and read some articles about CALI on TLS

Re: Is CALI free?
My T1 yanked their subscription this past year. They said the costs were being raised by 25% for a few years on end and they could no longer justify it. My impression is that most other schools have it, though.

if your school has it, it's free for the students.

Right. It's not free, but it is a subscription that is sold to the schools. So either you will have access to it through your school or you won't.ilovesf wrote:if your school has it, it's free for the students.

I work for CALI.
We're a nonprofit consortium of law schools. Not exactly subscription-based, but dues-based at the school level.
CALI Lessons are freely accessible to all students at member schools.
Currently, only 7 ABA law schools are not members, so chances are very much in your favor.
Technically, though, schools don't hand out authorization codes until they've got a deposit from the student or until classes start.
I'm happy to answer any of your questions.
