Microsft Word help
I copied and pasted some class notes, then am deleting, moving around, etc. to form an outline. It's not a great way to do an outline, whatever, I'm a 3L and I'm handsome.
Anyway, whenever I delete from one line onto the previous line, the font changes to the font that I had originally copied, rather than staying as the font I changed to using "select all." It's awfully annoying. Is there an easy solution?

I'm having the same problem in one of my documents. It keeps changing to Franklin size 12 or something even though I've used select all to make it Calibri 11 like 10 times. I have no idea what it could be.

Backspace from the lower line rather than delete from the higher line?

Re: Microsft Word help
try pasting into something other than word (notepad or textedit or something to strip out all the Word xml junk), then pasting back in. also try out using "keep text only" or "Match destination formatting".
Long-term, learning to use styles makes word significantly less terrible.

This is my ultimate pet peeve with Microsoft Word and have dealt with it for years. I stopped trying to figure it out and just do highlight/change font.

When you right click to paste, you'll see "paste as" w/ three selections. One is match "destination font," this is what you need.
