Re-taking the MPRE for higher score, even if you've passed?

Is there any advantage to taking the MPRE a second time to try to get a higher score, even if you've already met your state's minimum required score? Say I'm in New Jersey and I got a 75, exactly (not only meeting NJ's minimum threshold, but meeting the lowest threshold to pass in the nation, period). Would it help any to try for a higher score? Or is it a waste of time and the only thing that matters is that you've met the requirement? Thanks in advance.

The only thing I can think of this helping is getting a higher score in order to pass another state's bar. There's no point in retaking if you passed for the state you want to practice in.

Maybe if you enjoy taking the test and gain utility from it. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure the minimum passing score on the MPRE is a passing score on the MPRE.

Generally a 140+ MPRE score really helps for big law hiring.

I think Jones Day has it on the forms you fill out pre-callback. Obviously it is optional since not everyone has it, but they must ask for a reason.

I know a few people who got callbacks because their MPRE scores helped off-set a mediocre GPA.

It should go

LS GPA: #.##
LSAT: ###
MPRE: ###
UGPA: #.##
SAT: ####

on all resumes. Everyone will wonder if you left off the MPRE and will assume you are unethical. Also the number really should be three digits or a retake appears necessary.

Huh?

Recruiters don't give a shit about your LSAT, your undergrad GPA, and certainly not your SAT. They're irrelevant. Your law school GPA trumps all that. Throw in your liberal arts summa cum laude for good measure. Just my opinion - which is based off my own experience and many conversations with hiring partners.

Yeah, you can poast your score on the top of your resume. And when the interviewer asks you why you did that, you'll respond, "cuz I'm ethical as FUARK!"

The trolling going on in here is soooo lame it should be deemed unethical.

My CSO told me to put all three on my resume, and every employer I've interviewed with has asked me to submit an explanation explaining the discrepancy between my SAT and LSAT score.
