IPAD vs. Macbook or Apple air laptop.

Hello,

My laptop just broke and I am trying to decide which would be better to buy to use for law school and such.

I am debating between one of the apple laptops and the new IPAD.

Does anyone have any suggestions or insights.


EDIT - From the sounds of it I should go with the laptop - does anyone know which would be better, the Apple air or the macbook pro.

... get a laptop. an ipad is not a laptop.

ETA: before you do any of that, fix your double-posting and posting in the wrong place problems.

I don't think schools provide exam software for the iPad. Get a laptop.

MacBook is TCR. An iPad should only be used for leisurely activities, not to replace a laptop for school in general.
