Good Torts supplement?

Um . . . yea, I've heard the TLS logic that Torts is easy enough that no supplement is needed, but I'm not doing so well after bombing my midterm. Any recommendations for a good Torts supplement that lays it out in an easy-to-follow format? Do they make a good E&E for torts?

Second the E&E. All I used for Torts, got an A- both semesters.

The E&E was thoroughly inadequate for my torts class last semester. Not saying it's a bad supplement, just make sure it's in line with your class (obviously)

What about the E&E makes it so good? BLL explanation? Hypos? I have Understanding Torts, and it seems to track decently with the course material, but I don't know if it's enough ... does E&E add anything different?

Go with the E&E first. If you find it inadequate, try the Dobbs hornbook (but for god's sake don't buy it, read it in the library)/

I agree with the E&E. You can also get Siegel's Torts fairly cheap. You might want to go to the library and copy the checklists out of
the Acing Torts. The best way to prepare is to start doing essay questions and comparing with model answers.

I only read the cases (read:I read the cases like 4x each) and got an A+ in Torts.

E&E, Glannon's Guide, Crunchtime, and Siegels for practicing questions.
Good luck!

I've never understood how cases help you on exams. People always speak of how fact patterns parallel cases, but I've never found that to be true.

My torts final had a Palsgraf type of foreseeable plaintiff proximate cause issue. There were people trying to stampede out of a movie theater which then caused the popcorn machines to tip over and shoot hot oil at people. Something like that.

How did you like the glannon's guide? I've heard it was horrible, but I found the crim one to be really helpful.

I liked it a lot. I didnt use it to "learn" like I did with the E&E. I used it mainly to practice. However, it was still helpful for learning purposes because the more I read the same crap, the better I can recall it.
