This might be a really basic question, but like many first years, I have to write an appellate brief for my practical skills course and was wondering if there was a way to spare myself the tedious task of manually formatting my brief (especially the heading/index) to the specific requirements of a particular jurisdiction/circuit. I have a hunch that there must be forms out there where you just plug in the information, but I haven't been able to find any (I looked on westlaw couldn't find one specifically for the brief).

They really aren't that complicated to just copy manually. I don't know what kind of "forms" you mean but if you just pull up filings on West or Lexis, that's about as good of a form as you're going to get. Also find the jurisdiction's specific rules.
