Moot Court E-Board

Post by mootstar » Fri Mar 09, 2012 5:48 pm

Is there any (long term) benefit to gaining a moot court board position? Positions range from managing moot court to running specific competitions but unlike journals, you don't get the position for your substantive skills (mostly). Opinions?

Absolutely zero.

But at my school, you get paid for being on the board, so that was the only reason I went for it.

So besides that small perk, a moot court board position is at the bottom when it comes to extra-curricular activities.
