circuit split?

is circuit split supposed to be capitalized if i'm talking about a specific one?

Can you be more specific? I don't know what you're asking.

The general rule is that you capitalize the circuit when used with the circuit's name or number (e.g., we are going to follow the Sixth Circuit, rather than the Fifth Circuit's precedent.)

Pretty sure his question is whether circuit split is capitalized in the next sentence. "The circuit split exists because the Fifth Circuit and Sixth Circuit disagree on the application of ## U.S.C. ##."

I don't believe it is but don't have a citation for it so can't be sure.
