After searching through the forums, I've narrowed it down to two supplements: Gilberts and Understanding Property. I'm on the fence right now, and I was hoping for some advice. Thank you.

Use both.
understanding was great for takings and landlord tenant.
Gilberts was good for adverse possession and most everything else.

If you're using Dukeminier's textbook, use Gilbert's. It makes your life so much easier.

I would also pick up Estates in Land & Future Interests. You can get it used for about 30 or either be sure to check it out from the library.

I was thinking about it, but I had trouble last semester keeping up when I only had one supplement for each class. I did, however, go through each with a fine-tooth comb.

I think we have been searching the same threads. Ultimately the best thing you can do is talk to 2Ls and 3Ls who had your professor and either A) Snag their outlines and/or B) ask them if they used either supplement.

I liked Understanding Property. It's an easy read and it covers a lot of substance (really good to study from). I'd also get the Makdisi (sp?) workbook for future interests.

This is what I'm ultimately going to have to do I guess...
I'm also very doubtful I'll be able to use more than one supplement. I'm leaning towards using Understanding property and doing E and E hypos...
