Foreign Langauage

So my question is how much can foreign language proficiency help in employment, if at all? The language I'm curious about is Russian. My mom's side of the family is from that area, and I did learn to communicate in it pretty well growing up, although I do have an accent when I speak I believe. I also have travel experience in Eastern Europe. I didn't go to law school banking on the idea of using it nor am I searching for the nonexistent fountain of international law. I only just started to really wonder. Also, I don't attend a T14, but rather my state flagship so biglaw was not a motivation for me to attend law school either (of course if the opportunity fell out of the sky I wouldn't deny it).
