Question on Dukeminier's Property Book

Hi all,
I don't post here much, but I figured this was probably the best site on which to ask this question. My property prof has assigned Dukeminier's 7th edition, and I'm wondering if any of you may know whether the 6th edition is close enough to the 7th for me to save some money by buying that one? Frankly, I don't know why I'm even bothering since the universal consensus is that the prof does everything but teach property, but I digress. Any, and all help with this matter is very greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You can get the 7th used for 100 on amazon.

(Or, I'll sell you the Electronic edition that comes with the book, which i never activated, for 50.)

Updated throughout, the Seventh Edition provides:
• major changes to the proposed new Restatement (Third) of Property—highlighted, to simplify the system of estates and future interests
• additional visual aids and problems in the estates and future interests chapters
• a fresh look at marital property law, including the recent gay marriage case from the Iowa Supreme Court
• simplified coverage of servitudes, particularly covenants and equitable servitudes
• recent developments in the law governing the landlord-tenant relationship in government-assisted housing
• a timely view of the mortgage crisis and changes in real estate financing
• streamlined coverage of zoning flexibility
• a new case and material on Religious Land Use and the Institutionalized Persons Act
• updates in land use regulation, environmental law, climate change, and “smart growth”
• icons added throughout the text to indicate which materials have online counterparts on the companion website,

I went to buy one yesterday and the cheapest new one on amazon was in the $160 range...checked today and got one for $139. Also the publisher is selling a "looseleaf" version for $125 on their website...

FYI, Krier is Andrew W.K.'s dad. This doesn't help you though.

Cool thanks. I checked that too, but wasn't entirely certain how much of it was publisher fluff.

I bought the sixth from amazon for about $2. There were two cases on the syllabus not in that edition. I say get the book, compare, and if its not close enough you are only out 2 plus s/h.
