Top Law Schools

Post here to muse about how bad your grades are going to be because of how little you studied, how shitty you did on exams, and how drunk you were this semester. Then realize two things:

1. Everyone was like that this semester unless you took classes with 1Ls or clerkship gunners (or in my case gunner transfers and AJDs).

B:

I still don't have a job, so I guess my grades matter --unless you concede that I'm just fucked regardless.

I'm actually working on a take home due at noon.

Need sleep, need to get off TLS.

They matter for honors. If you're into that sort of thing.

Unfortunately the "grades don't matter unless you are in that nebulous world with pretty good grades from a decent law school but haven't quite found anything yet" doesn't fit well into a meme.

I still can't believe people are still doing exams, then again, I start up classes on the 3rd...good luck, cupidity!

It would be one less grade to wait for, but I am not sure that is with the spirit of this thread.

Will poast in mid January when I finally get around to checking grades. Whatever.

Last final is tomorrow at 2. You can see by the timestamp how well prepared I am.

checking in, expecting a drop.

Already have one grade back - below median in Bankruptcy. Waiting on Tax and BA. I was totally unprepared for Tax and am just hoping its not a C. BA I felt OK about except I never went to class and learned everything the week before the exam. Grades should be out early January and I'll probably check right away because I'm paranoid about just how low Tax might be.

Two B+s and a B, not sure what classes though.

Out of the 5 exams I took, I only felt good about one of them. Seems like I will be below median for the other four.

Hell, I wouldn't surprise if the one I felt good about end up being below median too.

Fully expecting below median on all finals. I will truly put the "grades don't matter if you gotz jerb" thinking to the test.

trial ad can't be horrible, i hear everyone just gets a B+ and i think i did enough to get that, plus its not curved. seminar was horrible, wouldn't be surprised with a B or lower, despite lack of curve for that as well. BA.. who knows. felt like i crammed enough but still struggled on the exam a bit. but then again i dont know what you would have done to fully understood wtf was going on with the exam, so im guessing (hoping?) most people felt the same way. ill guess B+.

i dont even know where a B+, B+ and B would put me at NU. bottom quarter? you can tell how much i give a shit about grades now given the little effort ive put into even figuring out how grading and the curve works here.

I genuinely can't predict. I feel like all my finals were super hard. Part of me thinks I did fine last semester so, I'll do fine again. The other part of me thinks I cared so much less this semester, and just generally fucked up. I PRAY I didn't ruin my GPA though.

had a dream last night i got a "B9" for my seminar class. according to the imaginary grading scale, a B9 is the lowest B you can get.

I had a dream where I bumped into a prof for one of my classes, he pulled me aside, and told me that I had essentially failed and that he was disappointed in me. But that he'd give me a B-. Seems eerily based in reality. Predicting below median grades by a decent margin. Whoops.

The worst part about all my exams is that when I discuss them with my friends, EVERYONE has the same analysis as me, even ones that I thought would be creative and separate me from the pack.

That's when I realize I am doomed for median if my most original argument was something that everyone else also came up with.

My GPA this semester could be anywhere from a 3.0 to a 3.7. And I don't care either way. I am not even sure if I'll look. I am thinking instead that when Spring grades are in, I'll check my cumulative GPA and as long as it hasn't fallen too hard, never look into the matter deeper than that.

I'm in. It's gonna be a loooooong wait.
