multiple choice section - still can't figure it out

Have been working on the multiple choice section of past property exams, still can't really figure out what kind of batshit insanity goes through my professor's head when he writes these, and he doesn't explain himself too well in office hours. Fuck multiple choice. It's just his little curve killer to make his grading work easier, despite the fact that he has like 4 weeks to grade our exams. How about I just say, fuck all law professors and fuck law school?
Anyway. Advice? Did you have multiple choice questions? Did you manage to not get 90% wrong? How do you think about them?

I like them, mostly, if they are done in a fair manner. It's hard to say without seeing what your prof is doing.

Bar exam questions are straightforward and fair. My professor does not know what those words mean.

Well-done M/C questions are much harder than an issue spotter, and to me, test your knowledge much better.

Look at exactly what the question is asking. Is it choose the RIGHT answer or chose the BEST answer...it's two very different things.
Cross out wrong answers step by step. One or two should obviously be wrong. The remaining couple will probably be tricky, so you need to know the law and look at the very small differences in the questions and possible answers. The correct one will probably turn on a single word, maybe two.

Right, those are the steps I usually take. Then it'll be down to 2 choices and a good lawyer could argue for either one of them, so I'm like, "Okay, this should come down to my professor's opinion...ONLY HE DIDN'T TALK ABOUT THIS IN CLASS. AT ALL. WTF."

I can do nothing for you without seeing some examples.
