I have to piss frequently when I drink caffeine, and I plan on being full of caffeine during exams. I'd hate to have to go to the john during a test, so I'm thinking about buying a few adult diapers for the next week and a half. Anyone else plan on doing this?

Nah, calmly leaving the exam and taking a 10 min bathroom break will freak the rest of your section out so bad that you will make up for lost time on the curve.

Diapers are for babies. Are you an adult or a baby? The answer to that question should determine whether you should wear a diaper (and whether the practice of law is the right career path for you).

Diapers are so weak. Real men use Foley caths... there's no feeling quite as invigorating as the forceful insertion of a urinary catheter.

The more alpha move would be to just shit yourself in the middle of an exam...look around the room...clear your throat...exclaim, "my bad" and then continue typing.

As you type furiously the proctor can have the odd experience of seeing 90 or so people quickly show signs of confusion that morph into disgust and rage.

LOL...not a bad idea....think about it, if you have to go, you won't be able to concentrate AND you might be a distraction to test-takers (squirming and what not)

I don't know about you, but I would imagine sitting in my own piss would have more of a negative effect on my exam than taking five minutes to find a goddamn bathroom.

I remember someone asked this question about the LSAT once, and I was joking around about it with my friend's dad, who is a long-time lawyer. He put it quite eloquently when he said "If its that important, you can hold it the f*** in". I'd like to echo these wise words.

I can vouch for the 10 minute bathroom break. Today in my evidence final (a 3 hour exam that took me about 2 1/2 hours to finish), some jackwad gets up not even an hour in and walks out. Normally I don't even notice but for some reason I was just amazed at the fact that he was finished so quickly. I sat there for a solid 5 or so minutes not able to focus on the test thinking about it.

But if you have a problem with peeing, take a gatorade bottle in and sit in the back of the room. Gatorade bottles are key. Either that or just eat a box of those energy Sheets. I think an entire box is equivalent to a pot of coffee. haha

I would use bathroom time constructively: I would hold it until I read the next fact pattern and then go to the bathroom so that I could think about the fact pattern while I was in there. Usually my bathroom breaks were once an exam for like 2 minutes so it didn't matter all that much, but it made me feel better knowing that I could start writing as soon as I got back.

If you do get up to go pee, make sure to make a groan or some other noise like you just lost your shit and realized you can't hack it; then come back in cool as shit and get back to business

people do wear diapers. but honestly, it's not the longest test in the world ( Try the California Bar....12 hours over two days I believe) and you get the break. I would wear one if you really are sweating the possibility; 99 to 0ne you won't need it. Or better yet come in in just the diaper to save time on clothing adjustment during test. and have a pacifier in your mouth. and always tell mommy when you need to go potty.

Everyone I know uses the Sheturpanti diaper with comfort air pocket in the rear and with the new
"Now holds 20% more volume" it's the baddest diaper around.

Usually go to the bathroom 2-4 times (always heavily caffeinated and being worried about needing to pee makes me pee more) with a cigarette break or two thrown in. Finished all (or almost all) my exams early; top 10%.
