Is Con Law "easier" in second semester?

I just came out of my con law exam feeling pretty bad about it.

I had a hard time grasping the material all semester long. Does the substance get easier or easier to digest in second semester?

We covered material up to commerce clause.

The problem is that if it is easier for you, it will also be easier for all your classmates.

Welcome to the curve, aka Satan incarnate.

I think Con Law II will cover issues that you traditionally think about when it comes to Con Law, so in that sense it will be easier.

Ask me in March.

I thought it was easier purely because the subject matter interested me to a considerably higher degree. Don't get me wrong, the commerce clause is lovely, and Lochner...was something, but the equal protection clause and the cases its interpretation decided were a lot more fun to think about. Also, I think that the most vocal people in that course are the most severely disadvantaged; they'll fervidly argue a position, but they won't enumerate all of them.
