Top Law Schools

I'm going to need one.

My professor likes us to cite cases, so I'm particularly looking for something that will not only clarify the black letter law, but also reference cases. Thanks.


Edit --> I have the Dukeminier, Krier, Alexander & Schill, Property (7th ed.) casebook.

I liked a combination of Acing Property and the Glannon Guide.

Gilberts. It's written by Krier. One of the best supplements I used all year.

Also, I think this has been discussed many times.

Agreed on both counts. I think it's almost common knowledge that if you use that casebook, Gilberts is one of the best resources for you. Also, I thought that the Understanding Property supplement was pretty bomb.

In addition to what people have mentioned above, if you are doing estates and future interests, then you should get a supplement that focuses on that. There's a couple out there. One by Edwards and another Makdisi.

+1 to to this. I have the Linda Edwards one, I'm pretty much the shit when it comes to future interests because of this book.

understanding property. at least for me, i started to understand the reasons behind the rules and it just made everything clear for me and i started seeing a lot of angles. but, you don't really need to know why the rules are what they are for a property exam. so if a book just helps you take an exam and just lists all the angles then that might be best since i assume you don't have a lot of time.

i really didn't like understanding actually. different strokes for different folks, i guess.

i seriously used wikipedia a couple times. for example, went to wikipedia for a quick overview of future interests and then just went to memorize everything after i got the general idea of how it worked.
