What are the attack plans for everyone?

Any general advice from 2 and 3Ls welcome.

Mine is Outline review and exam prep for 5-6 hours a day, and then taking Thanksgiving and Friday off.

Looking for if there are any good tips for things to do, or not do, over the break.

I plan on attacking first the turkey. I usually like to make sure that I have some turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy in each bite. I plan on not attacking the turkey so hard that I don't have any room left for pie. I love pie.

+1. I took the holiday and weekend off and hung out with family and friends. Then I came back rejuvenated and was able to concentrate hard for 3 weeks.

3L here:

I think that, prior to determining which portions to attack, you have to make sure to build a proper plate. Otherwise, the attack won't be effective.

I usually start with a base of mashed potatoes in the center, complete with a gravy pool. Then, I build around the mashed potatoes, adding turkey (a mix of both dark and light meats, but not too much meat to prevent you from consuming the other goodies), stuffing, a vegetable (e.g. green bean almondine..sp?), cranberry sauce, a tiny bit of salad, etc. I like to top it all off with a big, buttered roll. Then, I plan the attack.

Like KMaine, I usually start with the turkey, in part because it's most filling. I will, however, leave just a bit left for the "finale," which implements the buttered roll--put your left-over turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry onto that roll, compress, and eat. nomnomnom

Then, I usually pass out until 10 or 11 o'clock, which is the perfect time for leftovers and drinking.

In addition to the turkey and other delicious traditional stuff, we got crab cioppino too.

I plan on attacking that first.

I actually prefer to have smaller plates and go back for a second and maybe a third helping. I really don't like it when my cranberry sauce touches my mashed potatoes, so I don't like to have everything piled on top of each other. There's enough food at our thanksgiving that I don't have to worry about it being all gone, thank god.

Similar thinking but different approaches. I will have smaller plates but will have them all at once, except for pies which come after.

I am so happy about the turn this thread has taken after my initial contribution. As a 3L, this question looks a little different than it would have as a 1L. Still, I think I took off Thursday and Friday during 1L. I think those days really helped me recharge for the stretch run. Now, I am off to find some pie.

to be fair, I didn't really start studying until after thanksgiving. Ended up OK.

I already told my mom to forget the traditionally bland Thanksgiving dinner and make a huge Italian feast. Can't wait.

I took off the entire week last year - both weekends included. It was awesome.
