If so, how much? Do TAs and RAs get the same rate? Can you get a tuition waiver?

Same, same, and definitely not.Detrox wrote:1. Yes 2. $12/hr for RAs (TA's just get course credit) 3. No idea.
Is that per credit hour of the class they TA, or they get paid that per hour they work? So if a TA works 10 hours in a week, they'll get $340 in salary and $430 off their tuition?hdivschool wrote:Total compensation for RAs is $28/hr ($13/hr in salary + 15/hr tuition remission)
For TAs it's about $77/hr ($34/hr in salary + $43/hr tuition remission)
It's per hour of work. There may be some cap on the hours per week, though; the handout lists two example stubs, one with 6hrs/wk and the other with 8hrs/wk.Sauer Grapes wrote:Is that per credit hour of the class they TA, or they get paid that per hour they work? Think about how much beer money that would have been for us this semester! Like 3.4 times what we got, plus they got money off of their tuition.IAFG wrote:--ImageRemoved--hdivschool wrote:Stanford.Sauer Grapes wrote: Wow... can you share what school that is?
