Top Law Schools

I'm a 1L and as of today I hate everything. Mostly though, I hate the curve. I think the reason I hate the other things is the curve. /rant

Edited to say that I don't hate any of my professors. I do think I'd hate some of the other sections' professors though.

I fucking despise law school and question what the fuck I'm doing there every single day. Seriously, only reason I'm there is because I pay like 5k a year and have the debt covered.

I voted economy but at my school everyone keeps saying the economy isn't that bad. Really tards? That is why we have an abysmal solid reporting rate for salary data right?

As a 2L, feeling guilty of not going to class.

As a 1L, not being able to skip class, because you think it will hurt your final grade.

Other than that, law school, in general, is awesome.

Hang in there though. November - December of your 1st semester is the most stressful period of all. Good luck!

I hate the fact that I have class 5 days a week. In UG I always had Wednesday off, and only had class two days a week senior years. So having to look presentable and sit in class 5 days a week sucks.

Surprised at how little I hate the gunners. I don't hate them at all. They're more amusing than anything. And a lot of the people are cool. Would be a lot of fun if it all weren't graded and our grades weren't so tied in to our ability to pay back the debt.

Very much disagree. Just wait until 2L rolls around with full load of class, LR, and freaking out about finding a 2L SA position. At least during 1L there's just one focus--grades.

Eh, not really what I meant. If a Yale prof pulled that maneuver it'd be TTT... school rank has nothing to do with the (for lack of a better word) behavior of the prof.

If you are on LR I have to imagine you're sitting pretty-- even if it is a huge workload. Of course, I may completely eat my words by this time next year, we'll see.

Everyone talks about law and alcoholism, but wow, does it sneak up on you. I've probably drunk more at home in the last 2 months than I did in the 3 years I was legally allowed to drink before LS. 2 8% pumpkin ales fly by when you're busy hating your memo.

Credited to drinking while doing LRW. The only way to write a passable memo while not taking it too seriously.

Something I love about lawl school: my up-and-coming alcoholism seems to be accepted by my peers.
