My back is really sore from hunching over library tables that are too high for me. Will icy hot work? I cannot motivate myself to get out of bed feeling as I currently do.

Try Mineral Ice. It will make the pain go away.

THIS. I use this stuff on my back/shoulders all the time. It helps. (I use the CVS store brand, but it's the same blue goop).

What causes the problem is my size. I end up with problems from having to hold my wrists up in the air to type on tables too high for me and having to hunch over my books/laptop because the chair can't get close enough to the desk for me, either. The tables we have in our reading room are really nice, but really bad for my body. The other issue is that because I am so ADD, in order for me to do work, I have to take medication that causes my muscles to tense up/stay in awkward positions for a long time before I realize and can adjust.

I found a better place in the law school to study, though, and that is alleviating a lot of problems. The tight muscles, though, are still an issue. I'm going to try some of that mineral ice stuff tomorrow. I'm on Lodine now, too, for my wrist so that should hopefully help everything.

I should have just gotten my MRS in UG and avoided all this mess.

I'm guessing eandy is a tiny person. As a tall person I hunch over the shorty tables and so I carry all my stress in my upper back/shoulders/neck, which means my joints sound like popcorn. Wheeee!

And eandy, the only time I wish I had gunned for MRS in UG is finals time. I hear ya.

Three finals to go, next one is a take home Sunday, and I...haven't really started studying. :|

I'm short and all my problems are in my upper back/shoulders/neck too. I just blame it on generally being a tense person .

That's probably more true. haha. My chiropractor, back when I had time/money to go, was always like, um...what are you doing with your life

Good question, Doc.

Also, um, anybody got a checklist for bankruptcy?

Bulls 1pm start tomorrow is really going to screw up studying/memorizing for my closed-book evidence exam on monday.

Seems that a lot more people in this thread are studying harder this semester than last. I hope its not representative of my school...

I like that this thread is moving at twice the rate of the exam prep thread. Hopefully it is representative of 2Ls in general, and I will not fail horribly.

Self selection bias makes me think we're going to do horrible.

i will write it off as an "extended lunch."

re: studying, i have to learn all of admin in 1 1/2 days (and that would include the aforementioned bulls game), so... yeah, at least i know that I'M not studying more this semester. although tbf, while i may not have done much of the reading or went to class often, i did make sure to pretty much finish 3 outlines before the exam period began. so really all i have to do is read it over a few times and take a look at some practice exams and answers to make sure i understand how it all applies.

Fuck. People who are slacking are much more likely to be talking. It hurts. My hopes - dashed; my dreams - down the toilet.

I'm drinking for the third night in a row. So there's some serious slacking going on close to home if that makes you feel any better.
