Anyone find it actually helpful or useful? How does it compare with Getting to Maybe?

also wondering if anyone has read this. The website says it is offered as an e-book, though I can't seem to find it. Anyone have luck with that?

I haven't read it, but my professor recommended it and it seems pretty legit. Maybe a viable alternative to Getting to Maybe.

Just finished reading this. Not worth a purchase IMO, just check it out from the library. It is a fast and easy read so it should only take you a day. The book is very general and broadly touches on just about everything 1L related and would probably be a more appropriate read for 0Ls. There are still some pointers/tips I took away from it though, so it may well be worth the read. If you are looking for something more exams oriented and more detailed with concrete examples, this book isn't for you. I would recommend Delaney's "How to do your best on law school exams." That thing is like the treatise of law school exam taking.

mind sharing the tips you got from this book?

I couldn't finish Delaney's book, I didn't like his writing style

I think that the tips I got from this book weren't very specific, just directional in the sense that it told me to be on the lookout for certain things. For instance, there's a section that mentions how much time you should devote to analysis of one issue and when to move on. It just basically said to use your own judgment and "feel." Also, there was a part where it addressed what one should do when they have taken the exam for a while, but some previous issue already addressed "reappears" again. IIRC, it says to briefly mention what you need to add to that previous issue (e.g. "Returning to issue X, blah blah blah") without backtracking all the way to the beginning and reincorporating the new info/analysis. To them, structure and elegance go out the window, but if you have the time it can help to not annoy the professor. These are just some things that pop into my mind that stood out to me.
