Work through a lot of hypos. I didn't even try to memorize since ours wasn't closed book (who does that anyhow) but I still remember all of the major ones from last year...

I had a closed book final last year for civ pro. i just made flash cards.

I should clarify that I was in a year-long civ pro class and the first semester only covered jurisdiction, removal, transfer, FNC, all that junk. The ins-and-outs was second semester, where we were thankfully allowed to have our rulebook.
