Moving, Travel, & The Bar Exam - What did You Do? Forum

I am considering taking some time off to go travel after law school ends before I start permanently as a lawyer.

Some questions for anyone who has gone through the ordeal:

Has anyone done post-bar travel and gotten the logistics to work out properly? If so, did you do apartment hunting/moving during the bar exam preparation period? Is it too much to consider while studying for the bar, or is this a good time to take care of it? I don't have any deferral and I'd want to start at least by mid-September.

I was hoping to go somewhere distant, like Europe or Asia, for three weeks or so.
