One I'll never forget for contracts, statute of frauds; "MY LEGS":
Marriage, contracts for more than one
Year,
Land,
Executor (or estate),
Goods (over $500),
Surety;
I've been trying to come up with some good ones for possessory estates in property, and intentional torts in torts.
**ETA**
Here is a scrabble word generator site which is REALLY helpful making words out of the first letters of whatever your trying to remember:
http://www.anagrammer.com/ The generator is to the left, the site content is ad heavy because it's free.

Are you guys just shamelessly tagging this topic and hoping for more mnemonics without contributing?

I never bothered with mneumonics because I tend to have more success memorizing the actual rules without the use of mneumonics. Crazy I know, but it works for me.
The only mneumonic I recall is BARRK from criminal law. For felony murder, certain specifically enumerated felonies usually result in 1st degree murder conditions. They are Burglary, Arson, Rape, Robbery, and Kidnapping (BARRK).

You all have anything to remind me what the substantive differences are between Stare Decisis, Precedent, and Mandatory Authority?

Good one! I've been trying to come up with something for torts but that definitely works!
My property and tort exams are closed book, so any little thing helps, and mnemonic phrasing really, really help me.
