When you looking at a case on westlaw or lesixnexus and you need to cite a particular section.

blah blah blah doesn't establish the tort of false imprisonment. [*1542] However locking someone in a room does because.... [*1543] locking someone out of a car doesnt establish false inprisonment because....

If I want to cit the "However locking someone in a room does because...." what page would it be on? 1542 or 1543? Also if its my first time using that case in a memo, do I still include the language "at" in the cite or just put a coma after the main site page number and include the page im refering to?

Thanks!

1542. Whatever comes after the number is on that page.

Use the Bluebook, it explicitly tells you how to cite.
