I have heard the Glannon is best for Civ Pro supplements.
It seems that there is the
"Glannon guide to Civ Pro"
and "E&" Civ Pro by Glannon"
should I pick up both? anyone have any thoughts?

See what your prof. teaches before you get a supplement. I would have failed if I had relied on Glannon. Or Freer actually.

There's not a ton of overlap between the two books. See what your prof covers first on the syllabus, then see which book best corrosponds with that material.
In fact, for my Civ Pro class, the E&E was much less useful than the Glannon guide.

I used both. They cover different things. The E&E was best for helping understand the actual class, the Guide best for exam prep.
