Good idea to take the MPRE as a 2L

Or is it no problem to take it during 3L year? I'm trying to figure out whether I can get away with taking professional responsibility spring of my 3L year.

Take it whenever you feel like. It's a cakewalk. The preparation is a 4 hour barbri video. I don't know a single person who didn't score well enough for NY (which I think has the highest MPRE requirement).
The only issue might be if you wanted to wait to take the bar (I think the score may expire after several years).
