Sorry if this is off topic. I'm wondering if anyone knows if audio transcriptions of US Supreme Court opinions are available somewhere?

EDIT: To clarify, I'm looking for an audio version of the full opinions (someone reading the text).

I'm not 100% sure you know what transcription means...

Sure the most common use of the word is audio -> written, but it's used in other contexts as well. You can transcribe a musical piece made for one instrument to another. More generally, the word simply means the transfer of information from one storage mechanism to another.

Not too sure, but I know that http://www.oyez.org/ has audio of some oral arguments

Edit: nevermind. I don't know what you're asking for.

I'm not sure if that's what that is or not. My law school provides us subscription access to it, but I never got around to checking it out.

edit: after spending about ten seconds on the site, it does appear to be a bunch of downloadable audio files of somebody reading Supreme Court opinions

my cousin has dyslexia, and he's able to get any assigned reading for school transferred to audio tapes. if you have a similar situation and you're at a US school, you should be able to request that this is done for you too. if not, your school may have tapes already for students with learning differences that you might be able to take advantage of. talk to a librarian or student affairs counselor, they might know more.

This is a very, very strange reply, but you might consider contacting the chambers of judge Tatel. He's a court of appeals judge on the D.C. Circuit, and is also blind. If anybody has experience with what you're looking for, it would be his staff.
