Taking IP and Patent Law during the same semester. Bad idea?

Due to scheduling conflicts and a bunch of other considerations, my ideal schedule would be to take them both at the same time during my 2L Fall Semester.

Is this a bad idea or it can be managed?

You'll be fine if you take both at the same time.

Is IP a survey course covering patent, copyright, and trademark? If that's the case, then I don't see why you couldn't do both--just like taking any two classes.

If IP is patent-heavy, then it might really hep to cut-down on the readings. This semester, I'm taking two classes that have a patent focus. Both classes cover similar cases (and lots of cases from the patent course I took in the fall), so that has saved me hours of reading time.

yea, like above poster, i think this is a good thing. patent law is a big chunk of IP so i feel what you learn in patent law will help out for your IP exam.
