Surprised by this. Seems like admin wouldn't be theoretical to attract the gunners.

Spoken like a true gunner.

EDIT: Not sure why that quote didn't quite work, I did everything right.

These douches in admin law are really starting to get unbearable. One of the gunners got into it with the professor the other day during class. He didn't like the professor's hypothetical, so he decided to raise his hand and create his own hypothetical (and go off on a rant about it). Needless to say, the class had to sit there and listen to this fucking gunner for the next ten minutes, even though the professor said he would like to stick to his hypothetical and move on with the scheduled discussion.

I've already decided this is one class i'm going to avoid like the plague. I got a taste of it in legislation and regulation, and it did not taste good.

I've taken other "gunner-heavy" classes, but I'm going to avoid admin too. I think I'd be terrible at it, considering it's like con law.

The real mystery is why admin would be attractive to *anybody.*

admin sucks so bad. my favorite classes 1L were contracts and con law; I took admin as a 2L. It. was. awful. But maybe it was the prof.

Is it super wishy washy? Part of the reason why I hated con law.

My sister also told me to avoid Admin like the plague (mostly because it's apparently really boring). I plan on taking that advice.

It is not just attractive to gunners. If you want to clerk on, say, the DC Circuit, you really should have admin law on your transcript (the extent to which this correlates with being a gunner I am not sure). Also, if you want to know how the monolithic and overbearing regulatory state operates you should take admin law. I am the opposite of a gunner and I plan to take it only because it is taught by one of the best profs at my school who basically created the "regulatory state" 1L course.
