For median and anything else? Or know where to find them. Buddy of mine just got his GPA but wants to know where it puts him but is having a hard time getting info from the school, i think. figured i'd try to help him out.

Could be wrong, but I think OP is asking about where his GPA puts him amongst 1Ls, not in regards to law school applicants.

I'd like to know this as well

With a median of 3.3, where are the percentile cutoffs (at Duke or just "typically") for bottom third, top third, top quarter, top 10%, etc? They don't release class rank...

Only hoping someone had any sort of insight from past classes, i.e. honors rankings (although apparently those don't include 1L grades, which themselves are apparently subject to an at least somewhat different standard...),,,

There is a breakdown listed in the school policies. It is not a strict distribution, but I have heard of the reistrar sending grades back to professors for not following it.

Also, honors: http://www.law.duke.edu/about/community ... ml#rule2-7
