I have the Understanding Series for Property. I like it, but granted we haven't covered anything difficult yet so I haven't really needed it.

Civil Procedure - Richard Freer, Civil Procedure 2nd Edition. The E&E is good too, but I liked the style of the Freer hornbook much better. He goes into much more depth and covers nuances better. My Civ Pro teacher threw a curveball on our final and thanks to his book I knew exactly how to handle it. If I hadn't, I probably would have shit my pants and would have been asked to leave the test room.
