What is the best way to prepare for the bluebook exam?

Several people have just told me to read the Bluebook. This, of course, is good place to start, but I doubt I can remember much just from reading it. It's far too dense. The CALI exercises only focus on the basics of using the bluebook for legal memos and briefs, so I'm not sure that's going to be much help. I know nothing about the substance of our bluebook exam, but I'm guessing it's going to focus on that which is primarily applicable to journal articles. Any suggestions for preparation would be very much appreciated.

If it's open bluebook, then just tab the hell out of it so you can find everything quickly and easily.
