What is the latest LEEWS?
Thinking about getting it used on amazon or something, and wanted to make sure it was the latest edition (7th I think is 2005).

Oh really? I was just looking at some of the "how to do well in LS" threads and some of them mentioned LEEWS. I'll look more into its usefulness.

A lot of people who have done well have said they do like LEEWS. Others have said it didn't help at all. Like most things involving studying for law school, it's up to the person themselves to figure out what works best for them.

Richie is credited. I used, and loved it. I followed it closely and did well at a T1. It's not earth shattering but it's an excellent organizational system.

I bought it, used it for an hour, and didn't continue. My LEEWS is in pristine condition. If you are interested, PM me.

Mega, if I remember correctly, you must have done well at where I'm about to go to school. Any idea what the latest version is? How did it help, if you dont mind me asking? Just helping to recognize LS exam format and what they're looking for?

I dunno what the latest version is. It helped because it taught me how to approach and answer law school exam questions. I found it similar to how a logic games bible doesn't teach you any law, but it gives you methods to solve the problems. I listened to the tape and did the exercises once. Then I gave it to my friend BUT I kept the primer book. I reviewed it often throughout the first year. The system of studying and test taking just works for me. I know kids who used it a killed and kids who did not and also killed. I trusted that I would not have been in the latter group.

LEEWS is a great organizational teaching tool, just remember though, the main thing is to know the BLL going into the exam.

At the risk of sounding dumb, what's BLL?

EDIT: Whoops, Yes I know you still need to know the material and BLL to get by, just thinking about LEEWS because it can help with organization.

+1 for those who describe LEEWS as an excellent organizational tool. Used it at T14, did well. Haven't really looked at it since first semester 1L year, but still remember the principles.
