GRATS dude! I'm so scared about getting grades. After transferring, it feels like 1L fall all over again. fml
Thanks guys. :)

Harder classes it seems this semester though, so I don't know that I'll keep my current GPA. I'll sure try though.

Not going as well as I'd hoped... So far I'm a solid median, and I need good grades to balance out the coming shit storm that is my pending antitrust grade.
Shit, that is a rough schedule. Why would you do that to yourself?
You know what? I've been asking myself the same thing ever since finals week lol. Definitely not doing the same thing to myself again this term...

Just updated my antitrust grade... Law school grading truly is arbitrary... Antitrust is now my highest grade so far....

If a professor had 100 students, each of whom wrote 15 pages on an exam, that would be 1500 pages.

If a professor's exam was on December 17, and said professor took a 11 days of vacation (e.g. doing nothing during that time), then that leaves about 27 days until today.

Let's assume, generously, that a professor spends about 2.5 hours/day grading exams. Let's further assume, generously, that it takes about an hour to read 20-25 pages of exams (I mean, they're 12pt double spaced pages).

According to my calculations, no exam should be currently ungraded. :x
The only grade I haven't gotten back was for a class with a final on November 14. Fucking prick. I have been patient, but now I think the prof is just an asshole.

ETA: 80% of that final was multiple choice. The professor has to read ONE essay for each student, and he can't get it done in over two fucking months. Real professional.

If all of my profs for three semesters can get grades in on time why can't this one professor?

I understand that there is a lot to read, but there is a deadline for a reason.

I am in exactly the same situation...we may actually be talking about the same class. It's unbelievable.

Don't sweat it man. If you already have something lined up, you are FAR better off than many of us, regardless of median. Plus, you'll rock the Spring. 8)

Finally got my last grade in.

Evidence -- A
Military Justice -- A+
Craft of Judging -- A
Criminal Procedure -- A-

I'm a little disappointed in the crim pro grade (I know it's irrational), but I'm happy overall.

Congrats. I know how you feel... I hate when an A- knocks me down to a 4.0 for the semester. You should go ask your prof for a grade bump.

You'll be fine. Just relax and focus on having a good time and doing good work over the summer.

Dodged a bullet grade-wise. I thought I might have screwed up pretty big last semester (my evidence final was really tough), but I ended up with my highest GPA thus far in LS. My job is not lost, so I'm feeling good.

What is this "job" you speak of? I thought you were moving to Seattle and pursuing personal injury. Way to go behind my back man.

I did really well my first 2L semester .. which I'm not entirely sure how that happened, but I'm pleased!

International Business Transactions- A-
International IP - A-
Polish (yes, the language) - A!
Legal Research - A
Estates & Trusts - B (boo hiss)

Best overall semester for me. Here's hoping I don't screw it up with Spring.

Ugh, must be nice. I'm losing sleep over last semester, dreading the day I get no-offered.
median grades aren't bad. You woudlnt get no offered cuz of that. Plus you have an IP background. You will be fine.

Workers Comp: A
Race and the Law: A-
Post-conviction Relief: B
Media Law: B+
Crim. Pro: B+

3.0 (B) curve. Put me right around the top 25% w/ 1L grades.

I was pumped about workers comp. Was very interested in the material from day 1, did well in the class despite a lot of gunner types, and now am looking for a related internship/job this summer. Was disappointed in my media law grade because I took a very similar class in undergrad and understood the material; just had an off day for the test, which had a crazy-short line limit.

Ah finally. Very high grade in Exempt Org's, but broad mediocrity in other classes leads to an overall cum. GPA drop of .001. I'll take it!

Edit: Ah, lowest grade was in ethics

Edit-edit: Whoa. Found out I booked a class!
