Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has any charts/checklists they might have regarding the restatement and the UCC for contracts that they wouldnt mind sharing cause the one I have now isnt as strong as I'd like it to be.
Thanks.

i got nothing, but i'm curious about something. during an exam, do you look at this page (i assume it's something really short) of things to check? i know people do this, but usually i'm so busy writing or trying not to be confused that i rarely look at anything.
just wondering how you guys pull it off. i guess it takes only like 15 seconds and you can gain some freebies.

Yea, if its a flowchart I plan on using it to create a basic outline for what I want to write in the exam so that I dont miss anything. Then once i have it outlined, I'm gonna search my actual outline for the specific parts of the restatement/ucc i dont exactly remember and fill in the blanks.

Here is my issue spotter from first year, it might be helpful, it's pretty concise.

If you have a good idea of what the test is going to be like, the checklist is awesome. I go over the profs model answers (if available), and figure out how she analyzes the question, and then my checklist is a series of questions to make sure I cover everything.
For ex. In torts, it goes something like this:
Negligence / Strict Liability?
- Bring both in alternative?
For Negligence?
- List all elements first!
Duty?
- No duty category?
- Landowner?
- Special Duty?
You get the point. That way on the actual exam, if the prof sets up here rubric the same way, my answer will basically track her checklist.
Its also good to force you to attack the facts, rather than making conclusions and missing easy issues. A prompt asking whether it should be negligence or possibly strict liability for abnormally dangerous activities forces me to think of creative ways to argue. If there is one, the prof has usually thrown some facts in there to support it.
BUT: Once I've practiced with the checklist, I basically have it memorized anyway and its just there in case of total mindloss.

Access seems to be blocked to the document, at least for me anyways.

I made a "checklist" that turned out to be 8 pages long. But, it was still useful since it was everything I need to know about a topic in one line or less.

Also, getting back to contracts, does anyone have any good issue spotter questions? E&E has some good practice questions, but I'd like to see a fact pattern that isn't accompanied with a big clue from the chapter heading, and one that spans multiple topics.
