"I don't have a liquor license..."

I was outside a bar tonight, and a homeless guy walked up to a guy outside the bar (a law student), and asked if he could have a dollar or two to buy a beer.
The guy said, "Sorry I don't have a liquor license...," to which the homeless guy replied, "Huh?"
The law student proceeds to say, in a completely serious voice, "Sorry, I don't have a liquor license to distribute alcohol...I don't want to impose the liability on myself."
Thought I'd share.

That sounds like a pretty funny way to blow off a bum. If they have to stop and think, they'll just move on.
/otherwise they'd have jobs.
