do lawyers or law professors see something wrong with this

basically, is legislations an acceptable plural form of legislation
I've never used the plural like that. You can always rephrase it as to make this unnecessary. Give me any sentence where you would use "legislations" and I can find a way to make it so you don't have to use that plural.

is it acceptable to see....

i noticed some newspapers used it, i picked up on it, then i noticed again those newspapers were from sudan, now i want to know if the lawyers i've sent things using 'legislations' would pick up on it being wrong.

i was wondering if anyone here would find offense if they saw the word.

Best case scenario: it will be seen as a typo and might be overlooked. (When discussing the legislations...)

Worst case scenario: it will be glaring and jump off the page. (The legislations are ....)

Hopefully you didn't use it in a way that you have verb agreement that will draw attention to the fact you intended to use the (non)word.

Sorry.
