I don't understand...it's November, why is the libary empty?

My law school library is actually more empty now than it was back in September.
Is this suppose to be a sign of students burning out? Or are they just purposefully avoiding the library so they won't be stressed out?

If you have your own place, why would you study in the library?

A lot of ppl do. They say they can't focus at home and the library helps them focus.
Obviously I'm not one of those people

More productive.
Hypothesis, anyone dumb enough to go to law school ITE, doesn't appreciate the need for good grades.

I'm vastly more productive at home.

I'm sure it's a personal preference. I can't work at home.

They also don't let you bring in beer, which is even more counterproductive to studying.

I'm more than halfway convinced the best way to do well in Civ Pro is to skip class entirely.

Plus one my man.
The library is depressing, quiet, and full of stressed-out 1Ls. My apartment, meanwhile, contains my dog, is warm and nice, and lets me drink tea and play music I like. Occasionally I go to the local Denny's or Starbucks to keep things interesting, but mainly I have no problem studying at home.

Plus, at home, I can "reward myself"...read all the cases in Crim, give myself 15 minutes of internet / TV / whatever, then back to studying.

You can do that at the library.

ITT "whatever" = touching oneself.
Uggh. I see somebody beat me to the punch.
