How to prep? When to read GTM and supplements?

I'm getting worried because a lot of stuff in class goes over my head and I keep saying "I'll understand it when I prep" but I'm wondering how people allot their time when crunchtime happens...?

What takes the most time during exam prep? Re-reading? Outlining? Just brute-strength memorization?

I'm really trying to be strategic and I'm feeling clueless as to how this semester will play out. I definitely think supplementals will help me, but is it wise to save them for the end? :|

If you're having trouble understanding concepts, read the E&E's.

They aren't magic but they help with general concepts.

This is pretty much credited. If you still need a bit of clearing up after going through the E&E, hit up a hornbook.
