Is there anyway to go about acquiring old tests that your professor has not made public? Do previous students generally have the exams?

I would assume if they had not been made public and a student had them, then even if you could obtain it, you probably do not want that test.

Try talking to your prof about how you should obtain their tests or hypos relevant to your class.
