Need 12 point font smaller then times new roman

I'm doing my memo now, and am a bit over the page limit. I think I am being concise with my writing, it's just there are a lot of things to talk about. My prof said we can use any font as long as it's 12 font. Any suggestions of something smaller than Times New Roman, but still looks professional?

I know nothing about you, and I can tell you w/ 100% certainty that there's extraneous shit in there that not only could be taken out, but should be.

Courrier or courrier new is typically used.

Why would any 2L be bitter? Op should learn how to edit, it is an important skill.

If your professor assigned a certain page limit, it's very possible to come in half a page under that and touch on everything you're supposed to.
Edit more.

Times New Roman is a ridiculously narrow typeface and is best suited to thin newspaper-style columns. Try
Minion, which is also very economical but doesn't look shitty. Also, edit more.

This is coming from somebody who used to hate editing his papers more than anything and has a hard time letting go of even one sentence b/c "it is all necessary." Trust me, your brief will be light years better if you get that crap under the page limit.
One of my UG professors used to tell us a story about his doctoral thesis. He had like 2,000 pages and the board told him that he had to get it down to like 250. He thought it would be absolutely impossible. He got it down to like 800 after spending weeks sweating through every painstaking edit. They said no way after he petitioned. He got it down to 500 thinking it was the worst injustice known to man. Long story short, they never allowed him a page more and his 250 page thesis was and will always be his best piece of writing in his life.

Leave it that idiotic state to have the dumbest consent law I've ever seen.
That's just asinine.

Comic sans is TCR here. Also, rather than printing, I encourage you to submit your memo as a soft copy so as to facilitate the addition of numerous animated .gifs.

The cool thing about legal writing is that each sentence is almost always it's own little section of a memo. Therefore, think back to your analysis and find that cool argument you thought was really neat and delete it. After that, find any conclusion statement or counter-argument to it and get rid of that as well. The professor wants the points at issue addressed, not some cool argument around it you thought would showcase your talent for arguing creatively.
