Wrong forum.

Also, impossible to say without knowing what your other options are.

Are you interested in the practice that this job offer is within? Secondly, are you certain that the job offer will still be there in three years? If your answer is yes to these questions and you are turning your back on a T14, you have a tough decision to make. It would be helpful to know your numbers in order to assess how much higher ranked of a school you could attend.

Since you are only near a full ride, I am assuming you are not getting into a T14. If you are not, then I would go to Pace. If you are, well, then I would think about it some more.

Get a contract. An enforceable contract. One with assent. One with consideration. Not just a promise, but a bargain for exchange.

Going to law school in exchange for the job he was offered: adequate consideration? I.e., giving up the legal right not to go to law school? I'm more of a fan of promissory estoppel for this one, even though courts don't like it. God knows there aren't any other jobs floating around out there, so reliance on that promise is definitely being induced.

OP, get it in writing. It doesn't have to be, but your life and lawsuit will be much, much easier if it is :P

Naw, sounds like it was just a condition that had to be fulfilled for consideration to occur - like in Kirksey.
