If you're hellbent on not retyping, try something like this: --LinkRemoved--

A guy in my section uses something similar and it records the lecture. Import directly into OneNote, and click handwriting recognition. you're all set. But.... pen and paper is your best bet.

+1 I am way more "in to" the whole discussion in my banned laptop class, even though I don't actually slack off in my classes that do allow laptops. Keep briefs to one page per case and print one-sided. Write notes pertaining to case on the bottom/back, write general class notes on a separate sheet. Either type them in after class, or whenever you decide to review the material.
