Worth it to get the 2010 Emanuel's?

I see a bunch of Emanuel's outlines on half.com for dirt cheap from 2006 (5 bucks or so), but the 2010 ones are close to $40. Is it really worth it to spend all that extra money for each course for a few years of updates? Or are outlines just outlines, and the latter versions just a convenient excuse for the publisher to cash in on more book sales?

I'm looking at getting ones for Torts and Contracts. Already bought the Gilbert's for Property because they author of my Property casebook happened to also write the Gilbert's.

Torts, Contracts and Property don't change much year to year, however Civ Pro does, so i'd get the newest civ pro suppliment and not worry about slightly older books for other subjects
