Law Dictionary in Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis?/in the internet?

Post by rowlf » Tue Aug 31, 2010 11:51 am

Is there a law dictionary function included in either Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis?

Alternatively, and I guess additionally, what's the best free online law dictionary?

Unsure about Lexis but I'm pretty certain Westlaw has one.

Cool thanks. I really don't want to buy a law dictionary...not only is it expensive, but it's a lot easier to search for words on some electronic device.

A follow-up question: Any tips on teaching yourself legal jargon? I look up words I'm unfamiliar with when I see them, but any tips on committing it to memory?
